Programs

Our numerous programs reflect our perspective on supporting communities of digital and experimental scholarly practice. Each program is designed to support idea-holders at different points in their scholarly journey. In addition to our programs that enable us to collaborate with different segments of our communities, we offer programs that center humanities design thinking.

Social Media Corps

The Social Media Corps (SMC) program is a short-term fellowship for undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral students. This 3-week summer program includes access to design resources, time to learn and play, practice with actual texts and humanities events, and individual check-in time with SMC instructors and TAs.

The SMC is a fun way to learn by doing, which is an important element of how we work at AADHum. You will learn to produce small-scale media projects, working in community with other people interested in different facets of Black digital humanities!
