Digital and experimental projects often evolve over time, especially as the AADHum Scholars programs experiences often emphasize exploration, ideation, and project scaffolding. The AADHum Extension Grant is reserved for former AADHum scholars who are ready to return to or expand some previous work.

In practice, Extension Grants primarily center additional resources (work hours) from the project's original team, often in collaboration with new interlocutors. Because such projects must be organically integrated into the regular AADHum project creation stream, there is no application for Extension Grants.
