Programs

Our numerous programs reflect our perspective on supporting communities of digital and experimental scholarly practice. Each program is designed to support idea-holders at different points in their scholarly journey. In addition to our programs that enable us to collaborate with different segments of our communities, we offer programs that center humanities design thinking.

Creative Computing Collaboratory

AADHum strives to make technologies relevant and accessible to all communities. As such, we have partnered with the Hyattsville Branch Library and Bladensburg Branch Library to provide beginner-friendly creative computing workshops to the Teen Action Group (TAG), a community-based service learning program for Prince George’s County teens. These workshops incorporate design, physical computing (basic electronics), and coding to teach students how to understand, build, and critique computing systems that they engage daily.
