Deep dives & sweet explorations at the AADHum Scholars' retreat
January saw us host our first AADHum Scholars Retreat. For this day-long retreat, held at AADHum's UMD studio space, we thought deeply, played hard, and ate well!
During the retreat, fellows had opportunities to develop their technical collabs with the AADHum team, vibe with each other's ideas, and to engage crafting
and other hands-on as pathways into further conceptualizing their digital work.
It was a long day. It was an amazing day. Over the next few months, we'll be rolling out all of the Scholars' projects and prototypes!
Liz Alexander, assistant clinical professor in digital humanities and digital studies at MITH and AADHum, uses one of AADHum's interactive workspaces to ideate a new website for 2022-23 AADHum fellow Keondra Freemyn. Freemyn is Project Coordinator in Special Collections and University Archives at the University of Maryland.
