In collaboration with Electric Marronage, AADHum director Marisa Parham and assistant director Aleia Brown presented a series of interactive workshops that introduced audiences to new tools for creating and deepening digital projects. 

In October, Dr. Parham and AADHum teamed with irLhumanities to lead a pair of introductory workshops on interactive writing software.  In December, Dr. Aleia Brown and the AADHum team facilitated “bl(x)k rhizomes: fugitive planning & black museum study,” which introduced participants to creating animated collage in HTML5.  Dr. Brown also took part in a public talk entitled “Insurgency: Libraries and Archives Against Enclosure,” with MICA librarian Jennifer A. Ferretti and Bilphena Yahwon of Press Press.
