Lillian-Yvonne Bertram is a Associate Professor of English and Director of Creative Writing at the University of Maryland, College Park. Previously they were Associate Professor of English, Africana Studies, and Art and Design at Northeastern University, and directed the MFA in Creative Writing at UMass Boston. They are the author of the forthcoming poetry collection Negative Money (Soft Skull, 2023), and the computational poetry collection Travesty Generator (Noemi Press, 2019), winner of the 2018 Noemi Press Poetry Prize and finalist for the National Poetry Series.
